Privacy

What Consistent keeps about you, where it lives, and how to take it back.

What it keeps

Your email address, and the accounts, transactions, budgets, goals and people you enter. If you sign in with Google, it also receives your name and profile picture. It also notes the last day you opened the app. If you connect Apple Pay, it keeps the names of the cards you pay with and a fingerprint of each phone’s key that can’t be turned back into the key.

Bank statements

A statement you import is read on your device. The file itself is never uploaded, only the transactions you choose to save. If a statement can’t be read, you can choose to tell us which bank it’s from: only the bank’s name and what went wrong are sent.

Calendar

If you make a calendar link, anyone who has it can see your bills, so it shows amounts only if you ask, and you can replace it at any time.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase in Frankfurt and synced between your devices by PowerSync; the app is served from Fly.io in Frankfurt. Each device keeps a copy so the app works offline.

What it’s used for

Showing it back to you. No ads, no analytics, and it is never sold or shared.

Taking it with you

Settings → Your data downloads everything you’ve entered. Deleting your account there removes it and all of its data for good.
